Dearth of Power Sockets
I’m sitting at McDonalds. It’s been nearly a year since Wireless@SG was introduced. I was lucky to find a power socket. Looks like life hasn’t changed much in terms of the availability of power sockets for the laptop toting population.
I last wrote about how cafes could attract more people by encouraging them to stay. For outlets like McDonalds which open for 24hours, the late hours can be quiet and one way to boost business is to bring in the laptop crowd. Even coin-operated power sockets would be welcome and turn this into a good business case for these companies.
Maybe somebody could start a community awareness programme to improve the lot of the laptop crowd?

Beautiful Sunday
This is a beautiful sunday. Had a great hearty breakfast as the new kopitiam in the mall right by my place. Then went for some fresh air at the Alexandra Park ‘countryside’. Feels so good!

This is just a rant… I keep getting blocked by slow moving weekend car drivers. I really don’t understand why can’t they give way. They act like they have no experience driving and keep hogging the road.

Hi everyone! Welcome to my new blog. I’m still trying to get things setup here but most of the plugins, analytics and other widgets have been put in place. Just need to get my categories running properly with a good set that will cover what I wanna write about in this blog.
